I'm busy composing myself, so I'll just answer the question for now. windows ohr, I think is already out, if a little buggy, and no, you will never have to deal with the abomination that is BAM, ever again. Hell, even its name is abrasive. _________________ SACRE BLEU!

the music seems to have this "Arabian feeling"... _________________ The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on.

LL goes into a little harmonic minor spell and TW is based on the Lydian scale, so that's probably why.
Though, if it feels too Arabic, I probably should write something else, because that wasn't my intent with the character. _________________ Calehay |

I think they sound great.
On the first song, the arabic feeling Leon spoke of came out at first with the flute insturment but it quickly faded into the beautiful orchestration. After finishing the song I rewound and listened again, and I found it didn't sound aribic in the slightest on the second time through. The song is great, no need to rewrite anything. If you are worried about it giving an aribic first impression, you could change the opening insturment from flute to something else.. but in my opinion, though, its fine as is.
Very good job on both songs. You are very talented. |

I have posted possible battle music in the Song List. Look for Rise to the Occasion by Calehay. I'm still deciding if this should be regular battle music or if it should be boss music. _________________ Calehay |

Since it caught a bit of my attention, I went ahead and upmixed Trainwaltz into a more orchestral setting. You have a lot of empty channels
Hopefully you'll like this version I made for you, as I had enjoyed doing it.

I seem to recall Setu doing the same thing a few months back. I don't think it's a bannable offense if it is an offense at all. _________________

Well, it's almost like thread hijacking, in defense of Bena.
However, it seems to be aimed at helping Calehay, so it's more like voluntarily assisting without the author's permission. I think it would only be hijacking if he had shown one of his original songs in this thread.
Back on topic, please.
Lovely music, Cale. Interesting chords too. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Eh. I for one would be uncomfortable with someone taking my compositions into notation, making changes, and reposting it. Whether or not I was notified, it just doesn't sit right. _________________ SACRE BLEU!

Aw, what difference does it make? People do this all the time anyway (remixes, mashups, etc.) Let's encourage creative experimentation, not stifle it, what say? |

I somewhat disagree. Although I can condone creative experimentation, trying working your tail off on any piece of art, and tell me how you feel when someone copies it and changes it (no matter what the change is) without your permission....
It bugs me, but I'll let this rest here; sorry to have derailed the thread. _________________ SACRE BLEU!
