I wanted to do a new version of Pac Man OHR
So I thought all I had to do was download it from the gamelist. Except.. it's not the right version.
The version at the link you can download is the old version that wasn't actually entered in the contest. I have no idea why that version is there. If you read http://www.castleparadox.com/review-display.php?review=149 Shadowiii 's review, you can clearly see it's wrong. The download only has like 12 dots and a different level, and it even has music (vs the final, which I do believe, as said in the review, had no music and a full field of dots). I can even tell it's wrong because the final version used the read tile / write tile functions to make Pac Man eat the dots.
So.. I'm hoping that somebody out there has the actual full version, as shown in the screenshots. And it's probably too late, but if anybody can explain why the wrong version is there, go ahead... |
