All I want the script to do is show one out of like 10 random backdrops and then show the map. So how do I go about it?

Set the ten pictures to be sequencially numbered in the backdrop "menu."

Create a script that generates a random number between the ID value of the first backdrop and the ID value of the last backdrop.

Show the backdrop with the ID value that the RNG returns.

I think that should do it. Of course, the task is severely complicated if you don't have the backdrops inserted sequencially.

like this:

show backdrop (5 + random (0, 9))
wait (15)
show map

change the numbers as necessary.

Replace '5' with the number of the first backdrop, and '9' with the number of backdrops.

If there's an introductory programming class at your high school or the local JC (whichever best complements your status of geriatric progression), I highly suggest taking it. It will really open doors for your scripting.

Lol I'm posting this from my graphoics imaging calss right now (I'm most likey failing since I'm supposed to be workin) but yeah.This is the closest hting we got to an electronic class.And all we're doin is workin in adobe PAGEMAKER sweet jesus it like farting.Seriously thats how hard it is.But my ADHD mind cant focus on it because its so easy. :C
