I've noticed over the week that soemthing always seems to be wrong with CPVS. And I figured it out...It hasn't been saving...Is there a reason for all this or am I just cursed?
The whole game seemed go on lockdown about a week ago. I don't know what I did different besides make a few copies an rename them all (the newest version won't update). _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

Right click on the .sav and .rpg files individually, and choose Properties. Right away at the very botten you should see some Check Boxes for the options "Read-Only", "Hidden", and "Archive". Make sure "Read-Only" ISN'T checked. If it is, uncheck it and click OK.
I had this problem too when I created backups for my games. I burned them to CD, reformatted and then moved them back onto the Hard Drive. They kept the "Read-Only" status that they had when on the CD itself. Removing "Read-Only" fixed it right away. |
