The images I'm voting for are self evident in their greatness, so I won't bother explaining why I like them. However, I would like to explain some of the people I didn't vote for, and why.

Firstly, I don't think either of Hatzi's entries, Dominique by RPGKale, or Ysoft's second entry even look like girls. Dom looks like a man, and if he were a man, he might make a neat effeminate hero, but I just don't see a woman there.

Both of Hatzi's entries look like little boys with boobs pencilled on. Notice how on his first entry, the breasts are identical, like he had a picture of a man, and actually just added boobs to make his entry. The stance, clothing, and everything else about the graphic looks in no way womanly.

Ysoft's entry #2 is just too small to distinguish anything, and when zoomed in still doesn't look conclusively either way. It's not that it's a bad walkabout, I just don't see it being a Ms. Pixel winner.

This is the same problem I had with Battle's, but to a much lesser extent. It really isn't a bad drawing, and I can see it possibly being a winner, but it was just too damn small. Had he blown it up some, I may've been voting for him.

The next real group I noticed is the ones who look like they're too young to enter. Susan, Jenny, Ysoft #3, Entry by Onlyone and Adrian's Generic Animustrosity.

They're all sweet little girls, don't get me wrong. I really love OnlyOne's entry, and Susan is a great pose for a little girl. I can almost hear her asking me for a glass of water.

Adrian said his entry was Fanwork for an OHR Game, but really, what COULDN'T that be a fanwork for? It shows a pretty good understanding of the technique of anime, but it really doesn't have any soul or personality to it to make it his own.

Ysoft #3 really isn't bad. I might've voted for her, if it weren't for her nappy black hair, eyes that are too big for her head, and the fact that I think she might have hepatitis. Eyes aren't usually orange.

The next mental grouping I'm seeing here is the ones who are either incompatible with my personal tastes, or bring up bad memories. We'll find Girlaw, and Sarah Kokoro by PHC here, as well as Joe Man's magnificent specimen of hippo. Expect a tea party visit from Moogle's Barbara, but I expect the Ogrette will probably muck it all up.

I can't say too much about Girlaw, really. Words have failed me. But Sarah Kokoro is a pretty interesting entry, and I'd be tempted to vote, if it weren't for the fact the background looks like a microscope picture of a nipple.

Joe, she's a beautiful hippo. Really she is. But there's something about the way she smiles that makes me think as soon as she got on the podium, she'd go crazy and kill us all. I'd love to vote her, really I would, but frankly (And don't tell her I said this)... she scares me.

Moogle, did you ever play Uninvited for the NES? There was this scene where, and I don't want to spoil it, a ghost turned around, and it had no face. Her face looked EXACTLY like Barbara's, except with less skin. She's won every contest in my nightmares, but I just can't put my vote towards a possible phantom.

Joe's Ogre should get a clue. No Ogre has ever won a major beauty contest. Go home! Even if you are the most beautiful ogre I ever laid hands on. Eyes.

Ysoft's #1 reminds me of my grandmother. Way to add wrinkles, dude.

Ah, at last. Here's the entries that really stand out to me as possible winners. We're getting close to my vote, folks. Keep skipping ahead if you like.

Spar, I like your entry, but it seems like it was rushed. There's next to no detail on the face, and I'm really a face kind of man.

Kale, I Really really like your Cassandra. The face and shading on the hair is amazing. My only real problem is, that line under her boobs makes it look like she's got one big nice boob aiming up and to the right, and a little pointy one running down and left along herside. The perspective's off just a little, but it really freaks me out.

Uncy, you know I've always liked them, but there's much better frames of the two of them where they're not fighting. Putting them at that side vantage point fighting does show off great artistic skill, and it's a wonderful action shot, but it's not what you expect at a beauty pageant.

Rimjob, even though you cheated on our marriage, Marlian is a WONDERFUL portrait of me. My chin isn't nearly that pointy though, and my nose not half that big. It's almost a photograph, really, and looking at it again is making me rethink my vote.

Nep, you went a WHOLE Different direction. Everyone else talked about doing nudity, you did it. Everyone else did anime, or comics, or line art or pixels, and you did kind of a painting styled piece. And really, it's amazing. I told you the one little thing I saw in IRC, and imagining it without that, I think it'd look even weirder. Wonderful, classy nude.

And since that was everyone, (I'd feel bad judging my own "work", really. I'll leave that to you guys.) here is my vote. From favorite to least favorite.

My big problem with Cass is that she's impossible. Really, her torso looks like it should be her arm. Her head is at an angle with her body that suggests that her neck has been broken. Then there's the line, like Giz mentioned. Don't get me wrong: it's one of the better entries. It's just unrealistic. (Dom also suffers from ridiculous breast-to-torso ratio.)

Anyway, I'm voting for Barbara. She evokes in me more emotion than does any other entry. Granted, that emotion is fear and loathing, but given that she is meant as a criticism of japophilia, this is perhaps only appropriate.

In second place, I vote for Uncommon's Feather and Iris. They are both dead sexy, largely because they are so able. This picture showcases their awesome.

Third goes to RMDR's Marlian. She is the only entry that both looks like a girl and is pixel art and ought to rightly be the winner of a Miss Pixel contest.

I'm voting for Uncommon's. His is obviously the best. I'd vote for Barbera, but I don't know her likes and dislikes. I mean, is she single? What kind of men does she like? I can see Uncommon's is a fighter. I like that type of woman. She's HAWT. And Barbera, better luck next year babe. But heres my votes:
