I'm bored. I'm bored with all this stalling, waiting for new OHR games to come. We have all these upgrades to the engine and no games that even attempt to use them.

I want this to change.

I present to you my challenge: I shall hold a Terrible Game Contest, beginning on the first of August and ending on the fifteenth. You are free to enter as many games as you like, with whatever teams necessary. You are free to attempt to out-terrible Final Fantasi XXX or make something more interesting like Super Concentration Headache Master Pro. It must be done with the OHRRPGCE and presented in this thread.

How will the judging work? Simple. The community will vote in private, and I'll release the results. The votes will be for:
- The most horrific game/movie
- The most interesting game/movie
- The best use of new OHR features (post-open source OHR features)
and this time's bonus category:
- The best use of sexy men/women in an entry

You don't have to make a game to win every one of these categories, but you are free to do so. You're free to win all four if you want. Two weeks doesn't sound like enough? Start now. You have a head start, and I'm not going to check for the date.

Keep in mind that this is a Terrible Game Contest. You don't have to make a good game to win one of the categories, and anyone can win the fourth if they do some research. You also don't have to make a game. If you'd rather not have battles and button mashing, make a movie. Or hell, invent your own artistic medium. Just make something.

Hey, I don't ever expect a masterpiece to come out of a contest. If you want to make a good game for this one, be my guest.

I'm going to have to ban myself from entering anymore of these... unless it means I release a new OHR IRC SIM I suppose. But no, not this time!

Nice theme, but it somehow seems incompatible with the contest?

Countdown timer while you fight easy random battles for 5000 exp. each, at the end of which you find out is was all for nothing.

And now that I revealed my master plan, I'll come up with something different.
