Actually, I'm sort of confused on whether this has already been fixed in the nightlies. Right now, I have a certain shop in my game that messes up what it sells. It is a shop that sells items, and they are all supposed to have infinitely many in stock, but some of them are not that way. Strangely enough, this does not occur in one of my other shops. I'm sorry I don't have more details right now, but I think that the shop that worked okay was earlier in the shop numbering than the one that is messed up.

PS: Thought I should clarify, it is messed up in game.exe only. It shows the correct 'infinitely many in stock' for everything in custom.

PPS: Thank you very much for the bug 220 fix. I believe that that was pretty key for pretty much anybody making 'normal' RPGs.

There's another weird bug that has old games using the 'and' and 'or' functions in shops, preventing me from buying anything besides the last item on the list. The usual price of the item would come out looking like "500 gold and 120 flowers and 100 Master Swords" or something like that.

Speaking of wierd new bugs...
Anyone else noticed that a lot of older games that use plotscripts completely refuse to work right in the newest version?

Examples: Walthros. I got to a point 10 or so minutes into the game when another character is supposed to join you (Salom, I think) and... they didn't. The NPC on the map never disappeared, and I never got another character in my party.

And in my old game (The Kirby Lands), the "don't die after battle" script that lets you go past the intro doesn't work, so you get stuck with the two characters from the intro (both dead at this point) and get a game-over after one step.

I'm pretty sure these games still worked in... whichever version it was when Poison/Stun and Rename Hero were new, but they mess up in Hasta-la-QB.

All of these hero plotscript problems were (supposedly) dealt with in the fix for bug 220, which I was thanking about. This fix was supposed to lead to a re-release of hasta-la-qb, but I thought the shop problem should be brought up first.

Oh, that's what bugfix 220 was!

Good thing it'll be fixed in the next update (or is fixed in the nightly builds now... maybe I'll have to check those out sometime). Made a lot of games unplayable, since the add/remove/swap hero commands are some of the most-used in plotscripts... wow. Bugs seem to get fixed a whole lot faster now than what I was used to...

Well, not as such. Just, now, it's more public. Before, if you sent a bug report to James, he'd acknowledge it, but whether or not it was fixed would be a mystery right up until release day.
