I apologize. I suppose it seems sort of rude for me to give advice without offering some of my work up for criticism.
Here is a rendition of mine of a popular worship song called "Open up the Heavens." I apologize for its short length, but it was a class project and time is limited in the Music Composition lab.
Also, none of this song is arpeggiated or preset; I pretty much step-recorded every pattern that was used.

This was Fruity Loops. I'm in a class at the St. Petersburg college St.Pete/Gibbs campus for music composition on computers. I have to, according to this class, be able to use different software applications for making music. I must admit that I have officially fallen in love with FL Studio and am considering purchasing it. _________________ "Don't give me what is good; give me what is true." |

I found this song pretty relaxing on the ears. I might have it on my playlist for a while too. I like how you mixed this song also. Good work |

Get out! I take a few courses at that campus, too! I mostly attend the Tarpon Campus (`cause I live in Holiday), but I'm forced to take my music theory class and Earth Science at St. Pete!
You and me need to figure out a time and place to meet, dude. _________________

Longebane: Thank you.
Setu: I thought that all the campuses had Earth Science. I don't know, I could be wrong. You wouldn't happen to have Dr. Mason for your music class, I wonder? _________________ "Don't give me what is good; give me what is true." |

I think they might, but since I already had to take one class in St. Pete, I figured I might as well make the trip worth my while and take two classes on the same day there.
And no, I don't have Dr. Mason. I have Jeffrey Donovick. _________________

Ah, Mr. Donovick. He's okay. He looks like a musician that reeeeally takes his job personally, though. Those kind of musicians always make me feel strange. _________________ "Don't give me what is good; give me what is true." |
