When I left this place, something like 75% of the people here didn't even use the OHR, they just hung around talking stupid. _________________ BANDIT REVOLVER, DOWNLOAD IT OR ELSE.

I still use the OHR Engine since the day I accidentally found it from the internet up to now. _________________

I sure do. I don't understand why those who don't still hang around, or for that matter, why they don't use it anymore. I mean, I don't use the OHR for "big, important projects", but it always seems strange to me when people annonce "I am officially never using the OHR again", even though it remains fun to tinker with and easy to throw together small games in. |

I just began using OHR, and I am already blatantly stepping forth into game design discussion, theory, and pointless arguments and I have only shown off graphics for critique, heh. |

..me too. It's the OHR that got me into game development. If it wasn't for the OHR, i woudn't be a successful game designer right now. even if im always busy with my game designer job i still have time to take a peek at Crescent Dream to create and edit some minor things and someday maybe i can finally release it. |

I've been lazily plotting out OHR games, but I haven't used the engine in a while, and never did much anyway. _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."

I still hang around mostly because I'm a bit involved in the community (I'm modding a forum and still take occasional commissions), but for the most part, I didn't quit using it for any deragatory reason; I just always preferred to make movies of my story ideas but didn't have any other medium to work with at the time with my old Win95 computer. I won't lie: OHR's been an educational experience for me. I've just moved on to where my real intentions lie, that's all. _________________

I've been using the OHR off and on since 2001, and I'm still doing so now. But game-making is only a secondary hobby for me. I have no intentions of doing anything professional along these lines. Maybe that is why I am still content using the OHR (although I contend that it is a very good RPG creation tool). I've been working on my one and only project so far, lately retitled Tales of the New World, since day one, and after a little break I am currently trying to bear down and finally finish this thing before Christmas. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:
