Winners:
1st Place: Rimudora
2nd Place: nanakithirteen
3rd Place: Joe Man

Here's a little puzzle I made for a puzzle-themed website. First three to give me the correct one-word answer will receive original game design documents for the game of his choice. Options include Darkmoor Dungeon art, OHRer's Noel maps and stuff, and Scary Game maps and minigame descriptions. I probably have other stuff lying around that I can find.

PM your guesses. Do not reply with a guess.

I don't even know what this 'one word' is supposed to be in response to. The letter? Or some kind of missing piece of the puzzle?

Or maybe I am not proficient in dating tactics.

Part of the puzzle is figuring that out!

I hate romance. People need to stop making it as complicated as this.

Real relationships are a lot trickier, you know.

I would insert some random insight on relationships, but a certain someone might flame me.

^ Or for saying that.

I don't know why I'm even posting in this thread.

Hints will be released daily until someone gets the correct answer. For a little extra insight that may or may not be useful, you might look at the comments in the LJ copy of the puzzle ( http://moogle1.livejournal.com/161037.html ).

That's only partially true -- you could view your own if you made any.

Hint for 12/17: It looks like John knows how to solve the puzzle. Can you retrace his steps?
