Hello, Everyone.

The time has come for the Bob the Hamster investigation to end. Now we, as a community, must decide the fate of his shooter. Four investigators submitted their findings this week. Four theories stand for judgment. It's your turn, as jury, to decide who wins and who packs his handcuffs.

Here are your entries:

OHR House 2 by JSH357 (weeks 6-8 primarily)
http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=840

Who Shot Bob the Hamster?: A Siloloquy Mystery by Uncommon
http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=859

Who Shot Bob the Hamster?: Love & Order by Shadowiii
http://castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=860

Who Shot Bob the Hamster?: The Graphic Novel by Moogle1

Remember, the voting for this contest does not work in the same way as that of other contests. You are not voting for your favorites. You are voting for the most convincing.

Let me repeat: You are voting for the most convincing argument, not (necessarily) the most exciting.

Each contestant was given a series of clues for identifying the shooter's identity, the place where he committed the crime (down to where he stood), and why he did it. The contestant was then commissioned to develop a theory uncovering each of these three details. Whether he or she actually used the clues is irrelevant for the judging. What's important is that these three details are present in the presentation.

In a few days, "Buford" will post his findings. The contestant closest to the truth will receive additional points (10 for each detail he got right, 1 for each clue he got right). This also applies to any non-contestant who wants to attempt to figure out the clues (and the three details).

Time is running out for the clue-hunters, but it's not yet over. The game submission period is a week past, but you can still try to figure out the meaning behind the clues (in the "Who Shot Bob the Hamster?" thread) for your chance to climb the point ladder if you wish. Again, this applies to contestants and non-contestants alike.

The winner of Epic Marathon 4 will be referred to James to handle the winning entry as he wishes (wherever he should deem a worthy place to host it). If the person with the highest points is a non-contestant, I'll make sure his or her name is mentioned wherever the winning entry is hosted.

The contest as a whole will come to a grinding halt when Buford makes his announcement, which will probably be right after judging ends.

Judging ends soon, so get to it.

Wow. I'm surprised that all of the entries this time were by 'big names' (Not that there's anything wrong with newcomers entering contests, heh). Admittedly, I haven't made any effort at all to solve the clues. (Sorry, I just don't get them at all. :/) It'd be hilarious if I won this thing without even entering.

I'm casting my vote for Uncommon. Not as laugh-out-loud funny as the other entries, but still the best of the lot as far as I'm concerned.

Just an update:

Trial ends August 31, so the community should have a verdict by then.

Buford will announce his findings the next day; subsequently, I'll have the points totaled, as well.

Remember, the mystery portion is still open until that day. If you'd like to try to figure out the clues in "Who Shot Bob the Hamster?," you have 11 more days.

Scale:
Each clue solved correctly earns you 1 point.
Each crime element solved correctly (identity, exact location, and motive) will earn you 10 points.
If you're a contestant, this score will add to your game's score.

If you haven't played (or read) these games yet, please do so. Then cast your vote for the most convincing argument. Do this for Bob. Do this for James. Do this for justice.

Only you can make the OHR a safer place.

There's still a little time left for voting, huh?

A Siloloquy Mystery... that's my pick.
