thats right, im releaseing an (imperfict) 50% demo of my main project ive been working on for 5 years.
http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=378
im searching for playtesters for the game before i release the perfict version. any volinteers are welcome to write down a list of glitches, solutions, or just things i could aprove of. this game has come a long way from being a sucky newguys game to a possably half decent game.

before > after
ive come a looooooong way.
thanks, the_dude257
note: must be played in the latest nightly version for best results.

Unless it's HIGHLY reccemended that I try it,I wont.
9MB?! This is one big game (considering I have Dial-up,shitzy dial-up at that!)
Reveiw says it sucks,so I'm not gonna wait..how long,2hours?
Nah,unless it's highly recemended or you trim down its size 4 or 5 megabytes,I think i'll pass. |

The hell? Don't change your game just because one person is on dial-up!
Um, not that it's my business. |

I think what he means by "delete some songs" is he's gonna get rid of the hefty-UNUSED or OLD songs,of course,I could be wrong-if so,don't do it man!!!!
Also, whats the point of having unused walkabouts?
Might aswell get rid of anything causing extra space, not only becouse of slow internet-but becouse it saves hard drive space as well. |

Well, you tried-so I guess i'll go ahead and endure the wait!
You must hold quite a bit of pride in this game,to go through such lengths (well more then most gamecreators, anyway) just so one more person will try your game! |

Disk space is hardly at a premium. I'd definitely rather waste a few KB than delete walkabouts that I spent time on and might use later.
Although if the game is 9MB zipped, then you must be using MP3s, WAVs, etc., or a LOT of backdrops. _________________

I understand your point,Moogle1 but by "unused" I meant,If Fyona had a new walkabout and her old one was there-delete it,but if it's gonna be used in the future-keep it.
If "nameless Dude" from EpicGame got a new walkabout-I would certainly delete his old one,but that's only if I dont do my new one OVER his old one in the 1st place, wich usually I don't,due to me comparing new with old to see wich is better....
But anyway,Your right,Moogle (isn't a "moogle" something off final fantasy?) It's down right pointless to delete something you spent HOURS on! |

You know that you can rename the backed-up file to its original name without harming the game, right? |

well,I'm downloading Xeon-I started it about....10 minutes ago,I think, well when It's finished I'll let you know how good (or bad) It was-just remember,If it's worst then anything Wapam has ever made, you are officialy worst gamemaker on Earth.
But it might be pretty good-considering It's file size |
