Robert Bateman was my inspiration for doing this toucan since the art project it to copy a famous artists 'style' so... there ye' be

And now for graphic arts~ my teacher saw my anime-ish people and decided to put me on doing a manga comic of my own >.> it has to be 24 pages or 12 doubles sided

(funny when he gave me the choice to choose the same thing eh?) so here's the first style of my main character who's name is Alexander.

I think your parrot will get a lot more praise than your manga character, at least on this forum and most places that critique art.

The toucan's beak look incredibly smooth and has good choice of colors. I like that. Sadly, I'm not expert enough to spot any real problems in either image.
