Hi these are my ideas for a new game. I am not too familiar with making maps so whatever. If anyone can do it please let me know.

A group of materialistic girls are on an adventure to find the lost treasure. their reward is lots of new jewelry and cell phones!

Their main weapon is a cell phone and there is no armor because they naturally have a high defense and magic defense.

The stats are as follows:
HP: Battery life
MP: Credit/minutes

Attack power: Signal strength
Defense: ???
???

Elemental attacks:
Fire: Infared
Water: Bluetooth
Thunder: Batt shock
Ice: ???
Earth: ???

Other spells:
Cure: Recharge
MP restore: Top up
Life: Power on

They have special abilities to phone/summon a backup tean as a single attack against the entire enemy party.

The hero party formation is as follows:
Girl 1: Roxanne
Attack (Powerfull)
Steal
Item
Girl 2: ??? (something mage like)
Attack (Low)
Magic (High - infared...)
Item
Girl 3: Lita
Attack (Medium)
Summon (High backup teams...)
Magic (High - Recharge... CANNOT LEARN BLACK MAGIC)

Item shop sells items like:
Sim card: Cure hp
Top up: Cure mp
battery: restore life
etc..
weapons: (Networks)
Bronzenet *
Silver cell **
Goldensignal ***
Diamondial ****
Platinum choice *****
Pink-girl mobile *************...

accessories like:
gloves
simboosters
amulets
areals...

The rest is up to you.

The name of the game could be: Material Girls, Girl Power, Cell Girls ABZ's angels etc...

All the girls are employed by a man named ABZ Smokin'

This may be the most bizarre thing I've read in 20 years or so. But what are enemies, and how do they damage the girls' battery lives?

The thought of making cell phones into a viable RPG battle system is interesting up into the point where you introduce the main characters as typical teenage girls.

Why not make the plot actually cell phone related? Like those four cell phone company guys (four! That's a whole party!) going up against the Sprint PCS guy as the main villain?

If you actually made a coherent and interesting storyline about this, I would be very amazed.

I would tidy/finish up the storyline before making decisions about the battle system. There might be something story-wise that ends up changing your whole perception of the battle system.

Yeah. The story actually has to be good and well written, even if it's a stupid idea, because being well written and clever will make stupid ideas into gold.

It worked for Spice World--

Wait a minute...

Since abz_2gud seems to want US to do it, we're talking about a fantasy game here anyway, so why not add rocket boots and flying cows into the mix. And then the main character dies and there's a big ass sword/gun/cellphone/keyblade and the girls all wear funny hats.

Thanks for the replies. As i said it was a rough type up and the main storyline is up to the person who is commited to making the actual game. But please no flying cows or big blades... the battle system is quite rough and the monsters are of your choice some may be burgulars. Damage incured to the party inflicts damage to the Battery life (HP) and when the battery is dead (flat) the character becomes fallen. When the charcter uses a skill such as magic they use their credits (MP) to cast it. when the credits run out they can make no more spells or phone calls but they are still alive. ive given the very basic structure of the game thinking that it may be a good idea for a random person to give ideas and experts such as yourselves to make them. And the rest is up to you but please dont change the main storyline and genre by adding flying cows and wierd bazookas etc.. A possible suggestion is that the employer of the girls: ABZ may be the party leader who instead of a phone, he uses a computer thus making him very powerful. His computer/laptop may have a very large battery life and an unlimited broadband credits or whatever.

Wait, so you're giving away your storyline, but you're only doing it if we do it the way that you want it to be done, but you want us to do it? Hopefully you didn't understand that question, as that illustrates my point. If you don't want flying cows and a big ass sword/gun/cellphone/keyblade in the game, you'd be much better off making it yourself.

My laptop gets 2 1/2 - 3 hours of battery life. My phone can get somewhere around 30 (if I'm not yapping on it too often.) There goes your super powerful employer guy.

Now, let's just assume that this game was made, and it wasn't to your liking? What exactly would you do then. You have a concept that is obviously interesting (to you,) so why not do it yourself and have full control over what happens?

But if you insist on giving it to someone else, perhaps someone maybe able to fill the request.... *shifty eyes*

Well i have the idea but i am not capable of making it. I did try but the map stuff is too confusing. I have given the basic idea of what is to be included and IF someone wants to do it, you know - feels like a bit of a challenge then go for it.. But if YOU dont want to do it then fine, surely there is someone out there who is bored and is ready to take on something new???

Oh, man if the MAP stuff is too confusing...no, never mind, I don't want to be discouraging. My ideas for enemies are geeks, ex boyfriends, teachers, overprotective fathers, and facebook trolls. I hope I've helped.
