I recently got my computer to play BAMs and that was the first part of my problem but I still can't take screenshots and the monitor on my old computer broke :flamedevil: ... anyway, I need to know if theres a program you can get that allows you to take screens in WinXP.

If I'm correct, you can still take screenshots it game.exe, but no longer in custom.exe, for an unknown reason. This shouldn't be a problem as you can take any graphics you drew into game.exe, and display all the (normal at least) letters of a font in a text box, so it shouldn't matter unless you wanted to take screenshots of the actual editor.

It's the MSPaint in XP. It isn't compatible with the DOS format Dead . Game is okay though, due to the emulation it uses within the dos box. For some reason, dynamic ROM emulation in DOS has a gripe with XP.

It has nothing to do with MSPaint. It has to do with WinXP's DOS support. DOS isn't used that much anymore and it is more or less emulated on Windows now than anything - it has something to do with that. Windows is slowly breaking away from running on DOS programs...

NeoRicen, have you tried using "F12" while in game.exe?
that's the only way to take screenshots in WinXP.

Anyway, I think WinXP is bad, I'm moving to Win2k, and see how that goes... That is when I find the damned CD for it.
