				| This is in response to the plan from the wiki. I had tried to put this into the wiki discussion, but couldn't figure out (quickly enough) how to get the format right, so I'm just going to post it here:
I don't know how the programming would work, but this seems like a simple version of a generic 'status condition' editor. I think it would be real cool if this could be fanangled to be a part of something like this:

 Status Condition Name: [user input]
Status Condition Type: [in-battle only, out only, both]

In-battle disappearance time: [user input number ticks, 0 means no time limit, neg numbers connect to timer IDs?]
In-battle disappearance options: [user input global percentage for any attack to cancel SC]
[user input global number of 'attacks connecting with subject' to cancel SC]
[user input global number of 'attacks committed by subject' to cancel SC]
[user input number of battles SC persists for (default 1)]
[user input SC for this SC to chain to once it disappears in-battle]

Out-of-battle disappearance time: [same as In-battle]
Out-of-battle disappearance options: [user input global number of steps to 'wear off' SC]
 [others...?]
[user input SC for this SC to chain to once it disappears out-of-battle]

Stat(s) to affect: [user input bitset style]
 Stat bonus: [user input number]
 [discrete, percent]

Element(s) to affect: [user input bitset style]
 [turn on, turn off, toggle]
Element precedence level: [user input number] - higher precedence SCs override lower ones; equal precedence favors turning on
[also have a menu allowing user to move SCs arranged in Element precedence order, which is coded to reassign precedences accordingly...?]

Other effect: [poison, mute, reflect!!!, confuse!!!, more!!!]
Other effect parameters like [user input poison damage using a setup like the attack editor]
Other effect priorities: [stack on previous like effect, override previous like effect, fail on previous like effect]

Boy, sometimes I wish I knew anything at all about programming. Still, this might be helpful to you in some way...?
