(I’m posting this a little early because I’m tired as crap and won’t be up for another hour. I will still allow entries to be submitted for voting up until the time set before (11:59PM EST Tonight), and I will add said entries to the list first thing in the morning. If I forgot anybody, please let me know, but I think I have everyone thus far listed below.)

The voting phase for the 8-bit contest has begun. You will be eligible to vote from Monday, June 8th (12:00AM EST) through Friday, July 26th (11:59PM EST). Everyone that is a member of the forums is welcome to vote.

Okay, I have added the rest of the entries to the list. Those who have voted early, I will gladly change your votes if you decide on different games. However, I will only make this change once, so choose wisely.

Also, I have decided to let those who failed to meet the deadline submit their entries. However, said games will not be eligible for the bonus points and also have -1 points for each day it is late.

If you have any questions, please let me know. _________________ MOCBJ Software - My Games

Really suprised by the quality of the games this time... especially considering that everyone only had a month or so to make them. I guess I'll have to start paying more attention to contest games from now on, heh.

Seriously, some of these are so good that I'd gladly plunk quarters into them if I found them in an arcade somewhere. (Don't Eat Soap especially--at first I was afraid it was going to be some dinky joke game where you lose if you let him eat the soap... but then it became a near-perfect Bubble Bobble clone instead. And the whole thing was made in less than a month!? Wow.) |

I have received a decent amount of votes so far, but we need more. Remember, if you submitted a game for voting then you MUST vote yourself and not vote for your own game.

Just a reminder, those who have not voted yet:

Camdog

Ronin Catholic

Momoka

James Paige

RMZ

Pepsi Ranger

Blue Train

Keep those votes coming, people! _________________ MOCBJ Software - My Games

There's a good reason behind this -- since participants may not vote for their own games, it's to their advantage to abstain (rather than give points to other entrants). This penalty counteracts that. _________________
