So I try to compile and run this thing. I already have free basic installed, but when I try to run the makegame.sh, it gives me this bs about ./verprint. So what is this command and how do I get it?

bash makegame.sh
error 75: Invalid command-line option, "deprecated"
makegame.sh: line 22: ./verprint: No such file or directory

You have a really old version of FreeBASIC. Being a really new language, it moves quickly. I'm guessing it came with your distrib? You need at least version 0.20.0, see 'Getting FreeBasic'
