From what I can tell, Surlaw's website is down, and it might be for good. According to some of his posts on livejournal ( and the fact that he had a fundraiser ) I assume money troubles have force Surlaw to stop paying the hosting fees on his site. This could very well mean the end of the Hamsterspeak web-azine, as well as a valued part of the community.
One can only hope that this all ends well.

Actually, I just got a message from Surlaw:
