Hey, i am trying to work on importing my music in custom, but when ever i cycle to song number 9, custom crashes. I had been using that song slot as a place holder, hence it was just a blank midi file.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how i can delete the "song" without having to go through custom?

Hmm. Can you send a copy of your RPG file to Bob@HamsterRepublic.com ? If this crash is fixable, I would like to try and fix it.

However, I suspect the easiest way to replace the broken song with a non-broken one would be to load your game up in a copy of CUSTOM that was build using the music_silence backend.

If you are working on your game with the current stable release (xocolatl+) then use this music_silence build: http://gilgamesh.hamsterrepublic.com/nightly-archive/2008-10-03/ohrrpgce-wip-fb-silence.zip

Or if you are working on your game with a current nightly build, then use this music_silence build: http://gilgamesh.hamsterrepublic.com/nightly-archive/2008-10-03/ohrrpgce-wip-fb-silence.zip

This sounds just like '' . bug_title('722') . ''. Could you also email me a copy of the MIDI file? Do you remember where you got it? Which operating system are you using?

On the subject of music-related crashing, custom.exe also seems to crash every time you run across a blank MIDI file while picking a song to import. This is with the latest version. xocolatl+2. Windows Vista.

Just confirmed that the blank file crash happens in Windows XP as well. For what it's worth, the blank midi file was made with Anvil Studio.
