My attack data is going haywire when i try to edit any of the attacks or just scroll through them. It is setting bitsets randomly, altering captions/descriptions with garbage strings, etc.
This is happening on the The O.H.R.RPG.C.E version xocolatl+2 (released April 3 2009)
The RPG file i'm working with has been edited using a recent nightly build. Ironically I had to use the nightly build to avoid crashes that the xocolatl version was producing when editing NPC's (thread is a few down from this one actually). I'm not sure if there's some kind of reverse compatibility issue going on here or what this is.
Any idea? Thanks. |

There's been changes to the Attack Data code and NPC code in the nightlies that isn't compatible with Xocolatl+2's Custom. Using X+2 to modify a game that's seen a nightly build causes these menus to not work properly.
Try editing the most recent release of Wandering Hamster in X+2 to see what I mean. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |

Once you have switched to a nightly build, you cannot go back to the stable release.
There was supposed to be a big read warning message in Xocolatl+2 that would warn you about that if you tried to open a game that had nightly-build data added to it, unfortunately the warning was broken :(
Stick with the nightylies. Sorry about the missing warning message.
I'll add a warning to the nightly download page. |
