Well, I've been meaning to to show these for quite a while... but uh... I was suffering from an incurable disease called lazyness.

Your standard red dragon. I originally planned on drawing this on 8 separate, 80x80 enemy sprites... but I figured that it would've been easier if I just treated it like a battle bg.

Enemy sprites.

Portrait of one of the in-game characters.

an enemy sprite that pays homage to one of the greatest works ever made during the hellenistic period.

Did this for fun... an imitation of Nintendo's early cartridges design.

enemy sprite.

Well, that's all folks. Comments, flames, and yogurts are welcomed.

Image 1)
The horns are too short looking. The nose horn points awkwardly toward its face. The teeth are flat.
And the fire looks good, but it doesn't have any ground to be on. The shading on the head looks like random blotches.
Image 2)
The women's shoulders seem so wide that it looks like a male with desirable breasts to squeeze and huggle and hold and su-- er, sorry. Anyways. The stance looks uncomfy.
The man's shirt sleeves are TOO big. Methinks the jacket should hang over him more. It looks good, though
Image 3)
The leather.. thing.. looks plastic. And it's too light to be pleather Raspberry!
Image 4)
The man's hair, though good looking, draws away the attention to the snake(which seems like it should be the main focus).
Image 5)
I don't remember many NES cartridges with enlarged pixel work from the game. Also, OMG TOO MANY COLORS ON SCREEN WTF.
Image 6)
The dithering on the green and shirt looks strange compared to the hair and skin's shading.
BTW, try and get another color on the staff. Try giving up on of the greys(I would give up a gray). AND WHERE IS HER LEFT ARM!?!?

Dangit, just when I was starting to think my sprites looked good. One question, why are the dragon's teeth not shaded at all? Good work nonetheless though.

velduanga. The version with the finished teeth is in my RPG file. I accidentally overwrote the graphic file with much older work Happy

Motherland

Rated M for Mature

Content Labels: Good Graphics
Good Story

Nealy naked old guy pic (that's unsexy)
Nice lookin' half armored chick (Veeeeery fine)

WARNING: In order to play this game successfully, you need to take patience pills for the 30 text boxes you must endure for every 2 steps you make, and 60 text boxes for each town you enter.

Half-armored chick? The portrait?

admittedly, my approach at storytelling is questionable. I have regrets doing it the way I did, but what's done is done. Plus, it's not fair to drop game critiques on the art forum Wink

Yeah, I didn't mean to do that; those text box thingies were my only beef about the game. As far as the artwork goes, you should be like working for Konami or something like that.
