I can't link doors to other maps. When i try to, OHR closes without warning... At first everything was fine until something weird happened. I made a map with about four layers and everytime i save the game a new layer is formed and it fills itself with a tile that i don't need. It always happens when i save, i was annoyed but it turns out i need another layer and use that anyway, by filling it with blank tiles and using the tiles that i need. I saved and everything was back to normal until i tried linking doors. I've downloaded the nightly today, jan. 20, 2010 and it still closes everytime i choose a map for the door's exit. I've tried checking Bagne's shifter but it works fine... What could be wrong with my game? Can this be fixed? Thanks...

edit: tried other games too, like vikings of midgard which had large maps and animations and it works perfectly, oh i don't understand...

edit: saw these somewhere in the help forums:

Ah, good spotting: attempting to fill an area of more than about 14000 tiles can overflow the stack. However, this definitely isn't to blame for the corruption. Another two map editor bugs found!

- I use the paint bucket a lot in this game, could it be that?

From what I've seen, it only happens when I'm editing big maps (Wrongside is 105 x 70 or something up in that range, and the Haunted House map in Chapter 3 is pretty big as well; it only happened once or twice on smaller maps), especially when I resize the map to fit more stuff and then do a bunch of map editing immediately afterward.

- And my maps are in this range as well... And i work just like this, patching the tiles first then adding doors later or resizing if it needs to...

If it helps I can send you the file so you can look at it...

hmmmm:
One of the maps spawns some glitcy layers everytime ohr is started. That certain map was a copy of a large map that used to contain some npcs. I cut it to leave the place needed for the story and everything was well until i've made the "Lethe" map. The "Lethe" map, the latest made, i think is causing the corruption because has a layer that cannot be deleted. Well you can delete it but when you save the game it comes right back. When I delete the glitchy layers, the linking works but i can't find a way to delete the layer in the map that is causing the corruption... And the glitchy layers in the cut map also comes back when ohr is stared even if you saved without them.

I fixed the crash in the door linker. If you download tonight's nightly build, it should work fine.

I suspect that the layer filled with unwanted tiles will not happen again, but if it does, definitely let me know.
