I was reading the HOWTO on Hamster Republic, and it said all this stuff about layers, and how to work them. Which I tried. And failed epically.
So can someone please explain to me how I can use them properly? When I tried, all my heroes/NPCs were underneath my Layer 0 tiles, which didn't make much sense. Confused

I'm wondering how you knew the npc's were underneth and not just invisible... but never mind.

There's a number of options for making tiles overhead tiles. ( Too many if you ask me ) Depending on which version of the OHR you have you may or may not be using the wrong tile layer. Double check your options in the map's general settings, and try using a different layer.

If you're still having trouble, let us know and maybe some pictures and in depth explanation will follow.

Kwahahaha! I have no idea what I just did, but I fixed it!

...Somehow. And no, the NPCs were NOT invisible. No, no, no...

Now I can have rain drops the size of NPCs heads falling! Hooray for terrible graphics!
