Something amiss with the latest nighty? Post it here (or to bugzilla):
20101022 gfx_directx+sdl+fb music_sdl
-Top row number key no longer registering. Num Lock and keypad still work, though.
-.wav conversion to .ogg still broken. (This has been broken awhile. Have to use Ypsiliform +2 to convert.)
That's it for now. _________________ Progress Report:

I noted this in '' . bug_title('856') . ''

Sounds like '' . bug_title('826') . '' ... although I am a little surprised that Ypsiliform+2 works... also, I thought the gfx_directx backend was supposed to work around that bug, so I am not sure what the problem is... |

Oh, I just noticed this in the Bug #826 report:
TMC via Bugzilla wrote: | So for anyone who recieves an error message like "wav_to_ogg: C:\Documents and
Settings\XXXXXXX
XXXXX\Desktop\ohrrpgce\temp.33345.ogg does not exist
WAV conversion failed." ignore James' workabout 1), instead move the OHRRPGCE
folder somewhere without spaces in the path. |
That may explain why I don't have problems with the Ypsiliform+2 version. It's installed in a single-word-named folder. Not the same story with my nightly. _________________ Progress Report:

Strange. I could swear we are correctly quoting the filenames so that spaces shouldn't matter... (checks source code) look quoted to me... but obviously the quoting isn't working to protect the spaces for some crazy reason... |

The "crazy reason" is that DOS/Windows batch language is total garbage and contains 1980's back-compat syntatical hacks, as I mentioned on the mailinglist when I posted a patch to fix it, half a year ago. But it was never checked in - sorry about that! Bugs don't get fixed if people don't complain about them! And I have never seen a bunch of people who complain about bugs as little as you lot! _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

+1 on this! I still can't believe Mogri is the only person who ever noticed and complained about '' . bug_title('853') . '' |
