Enemy animation?

I've been debating on whether or not I want to get back into OHRRPGCE, but the one thing that's kind of got me is the enemies. They're static. Always. And I don't like that.

So is there a way where I could at least make the enemies move when attacking, at the beginning of battle, or when they get hit, or when they die? Like, maybe make an "attack" whose graphics play right over them and is triggered whenever they take damage?

Did I just answer my own question, or is there a better way to do this?

You can use transmogrification to change the enemy picture

Transmogriwhat? ...Woah! When did that get there?! That wasn't there the last time I used OHRRPGCE.

So I'll have to make an attack that is used when they get attacked, die, or whatever, then use this to animate them? Alright, but how would I have them die after the death "animation" and not when their health reaches zero?

Transmogrify it into an enemy that has 999 speed, 1 HP and a self targeted attack. I haven't used the feature much myself yet so I'm not sure about the specifics much; mess around with that sort trick until it works for ya.
