To do this all you need is 2 scripts, as many classes made into heros as you want!
The scripts you need are a script to limit the party to 1 hero, and a script to save hero's stats BUT NOT equipment when switched out.
Then the player can switch the hero to a different class, when in all it's just a new hero!
Hehehe... Pretty genious right?
Though it only works with one hero, SO FAR...
Any input or ideas to change or modify this are welcome.
Anyone who wishes to use this may do so, I don't want any credit, although that might be nice... _________________ Happy RPG Makin |

This idea is wonderful! I only have one coup:
What would happen to the items from the previous class, namely weapons? would they go to the inventory, or thrown out? this would cause some MAJOR raging, if you get a one-time-only weapon for one class, switch to a different class, then return to the first class to find out that that once-only weapon is gone forever.
Another idea for this: couldn't you just re-engineer the scripts for the hero in slot 0 to be specific for each of the other hero slots? Then you could have multiple heroes that is capable of class changes without too many problems.
I would like to see the scripts in question in order to elaborate on this a little further, though. _________________ Current project progress:
