It would definitly be a good addition, but it wouldn't be pratical for James to program, so it probably won't happen.
UNLESS he wrote some plotscript commands and allowed you to actually plotscript your own attack styles, then import the script...that would be neat.
But yeah, it probably isn't happening. Wait for Hamsterwheel... _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

waiting for hamsterwheel is like waiting for... i dunno... aliens to come to earth.
It's just an idea and just may not happen(seriously, what are the chances of aliens coming to earth)
EDIT: Oh yeah, if you want more attack pictures (or complete attack customization) james will have to shrink the size of the pictures to compensate for the extra memory needed and to prevent overbuffering. _________________ If we were a pack of dogs, IM would be a grand Hound, CN would be a very ficious little pitball, and Giz...well, it doesn't matter breed he is, he'd still be a bitch

Just set your "casting" animation to blank and create attacks that use your hero's picture as the attack animation. Voila. Three frames of attack.
Okay, so it's not that much better than two frames, but you do get a bunch of custom animations, rather than being stuck with just attack and cast. _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |

I remember something like that was done in veteran rpg, with Dr. Greg's (I think that was the name) character. He did these martial arts moves with different animations. _________________ Locked

Probably about the same as anyone going to, let's say, a small island off the coast of Ecuador. In other words, it's very possible. I'm going to have to cut this message short because I'm being lifted toward a flying saucer in a beam of light.

oooh...three frames of ATTACK not different attack animations...I'm stupid.
However, a good example of "3 frame attack faked" is SOJ2. That female character whos name I forgot holds her sword pointing down. The first animation is the sword up high, second in the middle, then she returns to her original position which is a natural path for the weapon. Amazing! Three frame attacks!
