I am stuck on this game. I've completed the forest and sniper battle, but I can't get past the Sphinx puzzle. I've found 5 symbols and seen the board with 6 colors, and that strange area in the neverwhere with the colors. Please help me Sad...

Hi!

I thought someone had written down some help somewhere for that Boundless Ocean puzzle, but I can't find anything. But I knew I had heard of the Sphinx puzzle. I did find this excerpt of a review which is something:

Unfortunately, in places, Boundless Ocean simply provides too little information for the player to make the deductive leaps that the author expects the player to make. The Sphinx Puzzle, for instance. Encountered midway through the game, this puzzle demands that you trigger buttons attached to various colors and symbols in a very particular order. There are a million ways to combine the colors and symbols involved, even once you’ve determined the meaning of the symbols and the correct sequence of colors, and you aren’t given any clear way of knowing what the precise order is. It’s not on the level of, say, the cat-hair mustache, but it definitely has the feel of an unfair Adventure game puzzle.


You can ask on Slime Salad, or in the SS Discord. Plenty of people there have played BO.

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't seen that particular review before. A very long time ago, the answer was posted on these forums, but sadly that particular TXT file is no longer being hosted. I will give Slime Salad a try Happy
