Review # 19 for Chaos Nyte
Them's Fightin' Words
Sometimes the world doesn't need a hero, and this is one of those times. Can Astroboy fix his bumbling screw up and save several hundred school kids form the dreaded Candyman? Hell no. But with a few friends, maybe he can redeem himself.

Storyline- Candy Man, evil elf dude, has captured 346 children in their school, and plans to turn them all into chocolate. The horrors. Lucky that the police chief has called in Astroboy, world’s most clueless super hero, and Happy Man, who attacks with his amazing bondage powers. ...Anyway, they manage to stop Candy Man, but he also manages to get away, taking the 345 of the children with him. So the Chief charges Astroboy to find the kids, or be killed the minute he comes back to the city. So Astroboy sets out, gaining Happy Man again for a team mate, and a hippie buddy, who spends his spare time as a mayor. They do eventually find and stop Candy Man, but a bug right after killing him results in the game freezing itself. Woo. Another game that doesn't end. The dialogue is decent and quirky.

Graphics- Ergh. Pretty damn awful. Some of the enemies, like Candy Man are decent, but the rest of the game has some serious issues. Town's are generally done in a directly above view, but the heroes aren't shown from above, and the messed up perspective is ugly to look at. Most of the enemies are blah, and Astroboy himself looks ugly. All of the walkabouts need work.

Gameplay- Travel from location A to location B, fight boss, repeat. It's standard stuff. The towns are too small, and the people are banal. To be honest, I've seen everything this game has to offer, only done better.

Music- Ripped, and well selected.
Final Scores
Graphics: 2/10.0
Bad, but it's really typical newbie.
Storyline: 6/10.0
Take it or leave it, the game will probably leave a smile on your face.
Gameplay: 4/10.0
It's playable, but I wouldn't bother wasting time with it.
Music: 5/10.0
It's there to keep you awake, not much else.
Overall Grade: D+
Final Thoughts
