Them's Fightin' Words
Very few games in the OHR comunity, infact, games in general, have moments that make me stop and think "Man, that was beautiful". This game has one of those moments. Unfortunatly, it doesn't stick to it's guns.

My main beef with this game is that it seems to have been written by two entirely different people. At most points it harbors a childish, freshman-style humor, with plot points and key events happening with little reason or explenasion other than "Just cuz". Even the slaying of a rather prominent character is met with little impact on the rest of the game. However, there are rare points where the game shows remarkable writing. The greatest of which happens after you get past the woods. And I aint tellin', 'cause I don't wanna spoil it for you.

Graphics are rather good compared to the rest of the games made in the OHR. All the graphics look great, with the exeption of the Hero battle graphics. Stiff and rigid, they look like they're fighting in a coffin.

Plotscripting is fairly well done, but is a joke in some places. During one of the flash backs, you can see soldiers running around outside. And since ol' Seph used the "animated NPC" Trick (in which an npc is given different poses rather than walking pictures, and is then set to wander in a wall tile), it really looks rather silly.

Humor, well I can't say I enjoyed the majoraty of it. I despise toilet humor, so I didn't like that part of it. I did, however. like the unexpected jokes. Espetially the couple playing ball in the first town.
Final Scores
Graphics: 9/10.0
Great. Perfect for this type of game. If it wern't for the cardboard cut outs that fought all the battles, I'd give this a ten.
Storyline: 3/10.0
A swing and a miss!! The reason behind this score is that there is no logic or reason behind most of it. It seems to be made up on the fly. Also, again, it seems to have been written by two different people, with two different writing styles.
Gameplay: 7.5/10.0
Nothing we haven't seen before. The battles are quite creative, and it's got a Boogyin' Skeleton!
Music: 8/10.0
Alright, but sounds like a broken recourd in some cases. Also, allot of it seems ripped.
Overall Grade: C
Final Thoughts
Eh. A nobel effort. Nothing two spectacular. It's gleaming flaws *coughcoughstorylinecough!* Bring it down. Basically Vanilla.
