I played Soul Fire, and for that half hour that i played and explored, i was bored to death. There is no plot, you start out as a dude in some iron armor named Adam, there is no intro, NONE what so ever. You find this guy named Brock in the town, and he joins for no real reason. you can only enter a few houses thats in the town, and in the mayors houses there is a guy with purple skin, that says he needs a cure, for whatever he has (it never explains) at the Inn. So you go to the Inn and the innkeeper explains that a guy with purple skin passed through and ran off to the caves near by saying something about evil. You go to the cave and explore a boring cave that seems to never end, and you have to batte about every 5-8 steps, and the potions do not work, in battle or out. and you finally reach a part of the cavern with three holes, in which all lead to nothing, and there is a mirror image of the main character, and when you try to speak to it, it only says "i'm confused". besides some good graphics in parts of this game, i wouldn't bother playing, so avoid what i had to go through.

The graphics were the only part that was okay about this game, although some maptiles wasn't all that good, the enemies and heros looked pretty decent.

No plot here, just a guy thats joins for the heck of it, a guy that runs to the cavern saying something about evil, and a cavern with nothing. Basically, Nothing. |

The battles were annoying, you could do only one attack in the entire game, in which the enemy you get to hit is randomized, and potions do not work. i went through the battles holding the ESC key down. No puzzles or anything..So...Not much gameplay.

The only thing giving this a 2.0, is the okay graphics. I wouldn't recommend this game. It wouldn't be that hard to find a better ohr game then this one to play. |
