Review # 12 for Onlyoneinall Look familiar?
Them's Fightin' Words
A LOME productions game about a girl named Rachel who happened to be created by makers of the game mentioned in the description. She has been warped into a hero's lounge where they sit around awaiting until they're assigned into a game. Sounds like an interesting idea, but there's simply not enough to make it worthwhile.
Graphics
The graphics look like the kind someone who is not entirely a newb but not experienced enough to make good quality would make. The graphics are bright and colorful, but they are lacking. They are okay to look at, but they are not spectacular nor anything special, as they are just average. The walkabouts are kind of crummy looking, and the only decent ones you do see happen to be ripped off from Final Fantasy, only with palette swaps. The walkabouts are animated for cutscenes, but it's nothing that really adds much value to the game.

Storyline
The storyline is mentioned above. The game being so short, there is not much to it that allows any real progression. All you do is meet a handful of characters, and that's about it. The dialoug is not poor, but it's not exceptional either. It is rather bland and reminds me of anime for some reason, so it isn't anything you'll really get into, especially with there being hardly any plot for the time being.

Gameplay
Almost none. You walk around talk to a few trees and people, and that's about it. I wish I could say more but that being about all of it, it doesn't really leave anything to be critiqued for the gameplay.

  Battle
    N/A

  Map Design
A bit confusing. In the main building, when you go up into a door, you end up walking south once you enter a room, so the inconsistency makes it confusing.

  Balance
With lack of game comes lack of the ability to critique balance - can't say this is applicable at the moment.

Music
Ripped from popular sources, placed somewhat okay, but there could have been better choices.

Enjoyment
Didn't really care much for it... not enough to care about anyway.

Final Blows
This is the problem when we release games too short to be considered demos, and then it comes to a grinding halt in production after the first super short demo is released. This game could've had some potential, but at its current state, I highly doubt it.
The version I played actually ended about five minutes after this... but it's not enough to matter.

Final Scores
Graphics: 4/10.0
A little above newbie graphics, but not nearly average either.
Storyline: 3/10.0
The story doesn't have any real sense of direction and doesn't go anywhere in the ten minutes of content it has.
Gameplay: 2/10.0
Felt nonexistant, aside from talking and seeing some people talk.
Music: 4/10.0
There could have been better choices ripped from less popular sources.
Enjoyment: 3/10.0
Not enough to be enjoyable.
Overall Grade: D-
Final Thoughts
Too short to be considered playable.
