Review # 4 for Setu_Firestorm
Them's Fightin' Words
When there's a relentless virus trying to infect your computer and destroy all of your work, who do you call? Who do you send to your computer's defense?
....You send the only polygonal hero that's always wanted to kick your a**!!
In this conclusion to the 5-game saga, you travel through various ages in time and fight villains of great variety. RedMaverickZero's possible Best-game-yet is a MUST to download for your OHR library.
Graphics
I could tell that these graphics were made in MS Paint, which as much as that kinda stinks as a game maker, RedMaverick's art style shows a lot of promise. His characters are well proportioned, and well defined.
The maptiles could've used more work, but the overall maptile graphics were a major improvement from last time around.
The battle graphics themselves didn't have too much to offer, yet were quite well done. Some of the cutscenes were rather well done, though.

Storyline
The game starts out where Mr. Triangle has fallen from the sky and wants to find out why, but of course he suspects it's the Creator ..again!
As you go through trying to catch and defeat Slither, the evil villain who just won't give up, it leads you through time travel where you encounter many parodical characters that will have you laughing throughout the whole game.
Once the plot comes to hand, you find that Slither is a computer virus trying to infect and destroy the Creator's computer, and he has decided to choose Mr. Triangle to defeat it.

Gameplay
This game was very fun, and I would find myself playing it hours at a time, even though my Mom was nagging me to do dishes ;D. There are multiple sidequests and things you can do just for fun that aren't directly related to the story.
For example, you could search through the Creator's house for his dog (which the Jesi move comes in very handy), and you can rematch some other characters from RedMaverick's games and commercial games (like FF7, Kingdom Hearts, etc) in an arena. All in all, this game rocks!

  Battle
The battles were very well balanced. They were challenging, yet reasonable, and caused you to sift more through your battle menus rather than just holding the ENTER key until the battle was over. A lot of though went into this.
  Map Design
The map designs were kinda good. Other than the maptiles, I would have to say a lot of imagination went into designing the variety of environments you have to go through to battle, or solve puzzles, and so on.
  Balance
This game was a lot more organized and balanced then the other predecessors of the saga. The battles were challenging, and the game kept you on your toes of what to do next, and none of the puzzles you had to endure were dull at all.
Music
I have to be neutral on this subject, mainly `cause I wrote the piece that he used for the bridge on the Time Sub. The rest of the music was well though out and planned out. Each piece reflected on the environment around you, which was all that was necessary. Unfortunately, the BAM files must've been made on the old buggy version of MIDI2BAM, as the melody lines collided like a rubbleheap. This I don't believe was RedMaverick's fault, `cause even I downloaded Loggy's BAM collection.
Enjoyment
I have to say (respectfully to everyone else who has made good quality OHR games), that this game was one of the most fun, enjoyable OHR games I have ever played. It was hilarious, fun, and never left me saying, "Ah, screw this! I'm playing something else for a while!"
Final Blows
I have honestly seen RedMaverick come a long way from the beginning. This game is proof that you can scale the ladder to a successful game from the very bottom (which is where we all started honestly). This was most definitely a job well done!

Final Scores
Graphics: 7/10.0
I'm 7.0ing this, because the graphics have room to improve, but at the least, the maptiles can improve over time. All the other graphics were pretty good.
Storyline: 7.5/10.0
The story required much more thought than the first game. It was more organized, and still had a "sitcom" way of coming forth. This took some work to accomplish!
Gameplay: 9/10.0
This would be one of the two factors that are the strongest things in this game. I will be the first to say that this game is extremely fun. There's tons of stuff to do.
Music: 6/10.0
Other than the crappiness of BAM, the music was well chosen and well placed. Enough said.
Enjoyment: 10/10.0
This is a definite 10.0! This was the most fun experience I've had in a long time! Who else will let you beat up Steve Irwin, or the Kingdom Hearts trio?!
Overall Grade: A-
Final Thoughts
If you don't download this game, then you are definitely missing out on a lot!
