Changes: This page is only for newly released games. From now on, if a game you make is finished, that is, has an ending, and will never be updated again, it will go here. It won't go here if it was 'abandoned'. Only if it was 'completed'. The difference between the reviewing here and in the demo section is that the demo's just get an overall grade, taking into account that they are demos and will be improved, whereas over here they get graded in different categories, taking into account that these are finished products.

King Haggard reviews most of these games and demos. He views the grades numerically, F = 1, E- = 2, E = 3, etc., whereas I view the grades in the following manner:

A = Best I've seen in issues
B = Best I've seen all issue.
C = Better than most.
D = Average.
E = No serious effort.
F = No effort.

This could have been a decent boss fight. Too bad it only lasted a minute.
King Haggard: This game isn't terrible, but it does come dangerously close. First of all, "collector's edition?" Give me a break. I've had it up to here with games that have nothing to do with their names.

This game was actually a refreshing break after playing Bugamon. The graphics are poor, but they get the job done. The music is dissapointing... (note to creator: if you're going to steal music for your game, at least have the sense to steal music that's good). The story is easy to follow, but then I wouldn't exactly call it a story. I mean, "Villain kidnaps friends, Hero defeats big robot, friends are saved" just doesn't cut it for me anymore. Adding to the weak story are the uninspired and shallow characters. This game could have been much better.

[[Rinku: It was too short too.]]

(Note to Psyco2000: Try to develop a more engrossing story... and please don't throw so many characters at me from the beginning...)

My personal favorite OHR gaming moment.

Little did Bobo know, he could have easily out-run the enemies.
King Haggard: I didn't expect much from this game. I got even less. Look, I don't like to sit here and bash these guys' games. But what do you people want from me? A lie? A pat on the back and a "neato torpedo" (sorry, frogman. couldn't resist)? Okay, so three hours is pretty good for an OHR game, but not if the player spends two of those hours waiting for the game to end! Al Barnes seems to have no idea how to properly use basic punctuation, as he places comma after comma in the wrong place. The characters were 100% lame (Bobo the magician? Gubal the Trobear?), and the townspeople all said basically the same thing: "save us, from the evil sorcerers,GREAT ADVENTURERS, so we can live in peace, once again." It's just not worth it.

There was no difficulty whatsoever, which was largely due to the fact that you can run from every battle except the final one (which came as a shock)! Every single aspect of this game was so pointless. The humor was bad. The graphics, while not too bad, were bad. The music was stolen and bad. The battles were bad, but at least you could run from them... which was bad. You'd think a three hour game would have a longer review, but quite frankly, I can't see any reason to continue talking about how bad this game is. In an attempt to recreate the RPGs of old, Al Barnes has single handedly (no game made using both hands could be this bad) murdered the RPG.

[[Rinku: So maybe it isn't professional... or good. But I can least point out that he at least finished a game, which is more than 95% of people making Ohrrpgce games can say.]]

(Note to Al Barnes: Read more books. Lay, off the, commas please.)

Jesus, eat your heart out!

You mean, you knew this, was a game, and you didn't say, anything?

The frightening title screen.
King Haggard: This would be a great addition to anyone's OHR library. Essentially, this is a puzzle game, much like lemmings, where you have to herd a bunch of brain-damaged sheep into the 'Star Area'. To do this, one must use every resource available, such as magic spells (which vary from stage to stage) to your own brute strength (as you are able to push the sheep by walking to them).

This isn't the perfect puzzle game, but it's the best puzzle game for the OHR, and much better than I expected it to be. This is one of the only OHR games that knows the difference between 'difficulty' and 'challenge'.

One of the only problems with this game is that there are only 15 levels. I would like to see this game re-released with 100 or so levels. Another good idea would be a 'level editor', but having CUSTOM.EXE kind of defeats the purpose of that. One thing to take note of is that the secrets on how to beat each level are included with the file download, which can be either bad or good depending on your views.

[[Rinku: Perhaps Moogle could open up the game (non-password it) and let people create their own levels, and mail them in to him, the best level to be included in a re-release?]]

The graphics are poor, but acceptable for a puzzle game. The music (with a few exceptions) is ripped, but at least Moogle picked good music to rip. Also, I encountered one bug while playing. I'm not sure what the cause was, but it made my spell (the 'S' key) unusable. Look into that, Moogle.

What I would have liked to see is a way to play the puzzles without being timed, while still being able to go into a 'time attack' mode where my best times are recorded. Overall, this is a fun game that everyone should be able to enjoy.

(Note to Moogle1: Make more stages, and larger puzzle-stages)

The first/easiest stage of the game.

One of the more challenging puzzles.
