Uncommon wrote: | Right, so wait, how does this constitute PHC jumping to conclusions and justify Sparrowhawk stealing sprites? I'm just not seeing it. What I am seeing is you trying to ass your own inability off as someone else's fault. I mean, I wasn't in public school as a kid, but I still learned how to read. |
You learned to read but you missed out on an important life lesson: "Be nice on the playground." Seems Linkmax could use a refresher course in grade school etiquette as well.
PHC, not to question your motives or anything, but when you make a post that blatantly attacks another user what do you honestly expect to happen? You could have easily informed Sparrowhawk without insulting her. In fact, with a bit of effort in the subject name, the initial post could have come off as a harsh reminder that slightly altering a sprite does not make the sprite yours.
However, as you so clearly stated , the main purpose of this thread was shits and giggles. You singled out a user for your own amusement, and that falls under flaming in my book. Sparrowhawk took it very well, in my opinion, and I wouldn't be responding on page 3 if it ended there.
Enter Linkmax, valiantly rushing head first into a fight his sister had already deemed unworthy of starting. You know Linkmax, you're very right in always standing by your family, but PHC is also right in that there's more than one way to stand up for them. Fighting the bully doesn't get you anywhere, especially when your sister has already claimed her own victory by acknowledging the insult and walking away.
As I clearly stated in the ToS, no flaming. It takes two to keep these flames going, which is why I'm issuing a first warning to both Linkmax and PHC. Play nice boys, there's enough room on the internet for the both of you. _________________

Ok, that made a whole lot of sense, I'm going to leave this thread now. |

When you make a new thread, does "Friends Only () Public (*)" not appear below "Sticky () Announcement ()" (right above the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons)?
If you select "Friends Only", it'll only appear for users in your friends list.
Unless you're talking about the ability to block users from your journal, which I need to find time to work on. I'll have more time once finals are over. _________________
