The Book

I've begun work on what is my latest attempt at making a game, titled "The Book".
I'll soon upload the file, which will contain only a small part of the introduction, later next week, I should have most of the intro done.

I'll update this journal every three days or so, with screen shots and game info. Every Friday, I'll update the game.

If there's any questions, I'll answer them. Thanks, in advance, for your feedback, help, and support.

The Book, has been canceled, due to lack of motivation and interest towards it's completion.

Although, in it's place, I've started another project under the same title. I'm aiming for a fairly short game, this time.

You said you'd update the journal every three days, but you didn't. There was no information posted about the game beyond its title. If you want feedback, you need to provide something to respond to.

I had nothing to really introduce; all I did was add onto the intro of the game, which wasn't really much.

But you are right. Hopefully, I won't fall behind on this game.

Edit: Just to clarify, by "Lack of interest towards it's completion", I was referring to myself as the one without any interest towards thr game.

I'm going to be unable to work on my game for the rest of this week, so I'm going to go ahead and update the journal early.

I'm going to rename this game "Overtake".

The primary goal, or objective, is going to be for the player to kill an over-powered king. The player, or hero, will be accompanied by two teammates. I'll get into more detail about the plot of the game in the next update.

I've completed a few maptiles, but that's all I've done as far as graphics.

I've done some interior graphics, but that's all.

The next update will probably be around December 3.

Sorry for the late update, I was unable to work on my game for a longer period of time than I had intended.

I've done some outdoor maptiles, the screenshot below is some of the path that will be leading up to the castle that holds the "Over-powered king".

I still need to add a lot, and make my grass less choppy.
Along with that, I've started work on the title screen, some text boxes, and some more of the plot.

I'll hopefully have some gameplay started, and a demo available, within the next two or three updates.
