And now to add NPC references to OHRRPGCE community members for "Vikings of Midgard". Essentially I have a list of people I aleady want in, but some I can't remember for the life of me what they've done/what they're well known for. This is also a list of some of the more well-known users in the OHRRPGCE, though of course it doesn't include everyone. Most, if not all have their own miniature sidequest of sorts where by talking to them or helping them out you're given items, weapons, or gold in return. Here's the highlights -
~Rinku shows up wandering around pestering the player to let him melt greenland.
~Orchard-L is disguised as the merchant from RE4, if only because Orchard's well known for making Survival-Horror themed games.
~Fyrewulff and Charbile make a cameo selling things in the game's "Requisite Furry Village". This is an obvious reference to them trying to sell Jade.
~Harlock makes a very brief appearance, giving the heroes a hint on how to progress through a dungeon.
~Wiz has a similar role to Harlock, except his script is infinately funnier.
~Bena can be found hanging around in an Inn, playing music.
~Moogle1 is herding sheep. (!)
~Velduanga hasn't been seen in a while. You find him in a cave with a beard.
~Chaos Nyte has a cameo appearance where he declares his intentions of going to Japan.
~Battleblaze makes an appearance as a kind of "Hollywood Stars' map seller", telling you about places you've already been to.
~Gizmog wears a tuxedo and afro. He blocks a pool. The pool is closed.
~JSH offers the party a ONE-SHOT-WEAPON, but you're forced to make an ethical decision about it. OH THE DRAMA.
~Bob the Hamster makes a special appearance, which is sure to touch the hearts of the OHR community.
~PHC/Surlaw can be found swimming around in the ocean with squids and a giant red lobster.
~RMZ has his own special mention in a hidden battle.
~Machu shows up in the "Requisite Furry Village", complaining about the cold. Mostly this is because he's a snake.
~Twinhamster shows up too. He gets mistaken for someone else.
~Slime says something silly whenever you cross a particular bridge. :D!
~Misteroo is avoiding the fans. Good luck finding him.
I want to add the following people too, so contact me and I'll see about placement. I still have a load of areas I can use you in.
~Inferior Minion (Whom will probably go in the Castle of Vileness with the other minions :}}} )
~Aethereal (Haven't seen him in forever, he'll literally be ethereal)
~Cube (He may show up as a ninja?)
~Setu_Firestorm (Ninja? From the song tribe.)
~Shadowiii (Ninja?)
~AdrianX (I have to make a nod to this guy somewhere)
~Eggie (I'm assuming the "Requisite Furry Village" somewhere)
~Leroy_Leo (.....turtle?)
~Sparrowhawk (.....Bird? Alchemist? Fullmetal Hawk?)
~Mike Caron (I'll probably put him in Midgard as one of the city's architects)
~Squall (C'mon man, you made Renzokuken for crying out loud, how can you NOT be in? Maybe chronicling the adventures of the game's heroes?)
And I promised I wouldn't try to cast anyone in a particularily bad light, but some people deserve special mention.

Sweet, I'm well known!
But how could you possibly get someone confused with ?
Unless, of course, I lost my siamese-hamster-twin form?

I understand that, but we don't have a "sparrow" here, so I had to use the closest thing possible. "Sparrowhawk".
This is my sad attempt to make a play on words. |
