Must've missed a memo...I only recently found out about this.
I'm excited, though I hardly think it could be scarier then the game series. SH3 remains as one of my favorite horror games ever, and parts of that scared the heck outta me.
The downside is I get to see it in 2007, but I ain't complaining. As long as it is better then those horrible Resident Evil movies. Then again that shouldn't be too hard.
