Interesting technique. Either that's a pair of lips, or something tore her face off. another thing I thought for a second was that her tail was a giving me the middle finger... this is a pretty cool piece for that reason. It takes a while to see what abomination I am looking at.
Because it would spoil the style, I won't suggest any ways to make this look "better". It's perfect the way it is.
