Actually, this could be done now, and in very little time too. The only question of course, is whether there's enough interest in the OHR to attempt such a thing. Or whether this project would revive some interest instead. Either way, win-win. To do this, I'd need a few things:
1 - The original script file in .TXT format so I can still edit it and fix a few things. The game should remain mostly unchanged, EXCEPT for the opening and the ending (which is a cop-out, and could be so much better). To do this, I HAVE to have the afforementioned plotscripting file. If anyone can point me in the direction to extract this from the game itself, then open it appropriately, please say so!
2 - Entirely new sprites for walkabouts, maps, enemies and heroes. The maps, ironically enough, are ALREADY mostly done.
3 - And of course, some idiot person to actually play through the whole thing one more time and note what should be changed where.
Oh, and this too... to show I'd be serious.

a) Thats 0/10 on oddity scale in my book...
b) I've never played that ohr game actually, so, as far as playing it throughout (once more) is concerned, that wouldn't be a problem, I guess. |

The HS Decompiler can extract usable (but ugly) script files from old games. It does not currently work with new games. I don't know if the scripts in FFH are old enough to work, but you can try. If not, you might be able to motivate TMC to work on it again. |

Wow..You just never stop working, do you?
If I managed to play through the entire game, I would so apply to be that idiot. _________________ Look back and you've already lost.

A new updated version of the decompiler is a work in progress, but I'm pretty sure FFH is old enough to be fully supported anyway. I'll email you the decompiled scripts some time (it's on another computer).
Also, wow, that looks epic _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

I've never actually played through the original, but it's been on my to do list for a while, so I might be persuaded into being your idiot. |
