Well, I've finally got access to a scanner and I'm in the mood for sharing, so here's some concept art!
What is this? There are heads on my daggers (or daggers on my heads?), crazy!
The leader of Gobkins has been provoked?!
Heroes! Beware, for Boss, it transforms!
It also gets color?!
Which reminds me, I am bad at pixelating fabric textures (D:>)
This is soo much nicer than trying to salvage an image taken with a shoddy web cam. |

This is excellent stuff. Which reminds me - why didn't you post to the art forum? I rarely check the journals anymore! |

Freaking awesome stuff you have there, TwinHamster. _________________

I'm glad to see that my stuff is approved of.

I was considering it, but then I thought about the possibility that I might post non-visual-art components of the game. |

Here are the basics of the game's battle design:
The first character is the standard attacker.
He'll basically use a variety of physical combat moves.
He can also use elemental moves (Basically, magic damage).
To balance the battle system a bit more than the system presented in Thanksgiving quest, I decided that it might be better if the other characters had to buff him.
This would pretty much cause the player to lose the battle if the other two characters died.
The second character is the white mage of the game.
He'll restore health, stats, and supply buffs to the team.
By giving buffs to the white mage, I guess I'll be forcing the player to pick between using restorative spells or strengthening the other party members.
The last character was supposed to be a black mage, but black mages generally deal damage and I already had a damage-dealer, so he pretty much weakens the enemy and summons "tokens" which will let the attacker use elemental-based attacks.
The tokens are pretty much in there to limit the player's use of magical attacks.
So if the player needs to use a fire attack, character #3 summons a token, character #1 consumes the token and uses a fire attack.
And with a possibility of three items to use as attack-costs, I can even make some pretty sweet element-combinations.
It'll be like Kirby 64, except with the ability to mix three elements.
Leveling is only useful for learning new spells and gaining insignificant stat-bonuses.
What's the verdict so far? |

It sounds to me like party member #3 is only enabling party member #1's thrill-seeking behavior. Party member #2 thinks he's helping party member #1 with his addiction, but party member #1 is taking advantage of party member #2's mixture of benevolence and naïvete.
I'd like to see more interaction between the party members. Right now, it seems like the other two are really only there to support the first. Perhaps you could give the second some abilities that rely on the third's tokens, or vice versa.
This gives me a crazy radical idea: "Magus Sisters RPG." _________________

And it doesn't particularly help that #3 and #2 are practically the same character. (+ally atk = - foe def)
If I could somehow alter elemental resistance, that'd be pretty sweet.
Suppose I'll have to look for an alternative then.
Oh yeah, Character #2 is the also only one that can use potions. |

This, gentlemen, is why you shouldn't purchase a FleshLight(TM) from a company outside of the United States. _________________ Allow me to preemptively disclose that I probably hate the person posting below, including myself. |
