Equipment have no class-specific stats. They do not require the party member to be a specific class to be equipped. What the party does require though, is the appropriate training, license and advantage to cancel out the disadvantage that equiping them could cause.
Heavy Armor:
High defence and +strength, but less speed and accuracy
Normal Armor:
Decent Defence, less accuracy
Light Armor:
Low defence and +Will
Heavy Gauntlets:
High Defence, but less Accuracy
Normal Gauntlets:
Decent defence
Light Gauntlets:
Low Defence
Heavy Boots:
High defence, Less speed and will
Normal Boots:
Decent defence, but less speed
Light Boots:
Low Defence
Heavy Helmet:
High Defence, but less speed
Normal Helmet:
Decent Defence
Light Helmet
Low Defence
Weapons:
Those are general stats for weapons, some may vary according to what magical ability they have or what level they are.
Note: "Damage %": 0% = Unstable (Example: can range from 1 to 100)
100% = Stable (Example: Can range from 40 to 60)
200% = Constant (Always 50)
Swords:
Speed: 150%
Damage: 50%
Accuracy: 100%
(2H) swords:
Speed: 100%
Damage: 100%
Accuracy: 100%
Maces:
Speed: 50%
Damage: 150%
Accuracy: 100%
(2H) Maces:
Speed: 25%
Damage: 150%
Accuracy: 125%
Axes:
Speed: 75%
Damage: 125%
Accuracy: 100%
(2H) Axes:

Damage: 150%

Whips:

Two-Handed Weapons (2H), bows, crossbows and throwing stars, cannot be equipped with Shields
Items can be potions, scrolls, keys, quest objects or anything that you can carry that isn't a piece of equipment or a weapon.
Potions:
Bottled drinks that have several effects, whether it's heal, buff or explode.
Scrolls:
Attach them to a piece of equipment and gain extra stats, resistance or damage for weapons.
