I'm not an expert and don't have a PhD. in psychology, but this sounds a lot like me, so I should give you my input anyway.
Your brother has a rather common psychological disability called Excessive compulsive disorder as well as/ or rather an extreme ego centric vocal view point. Ie. He has to say the last word, because only what he says makes a difference in his world.
So, he's stuck in a loop... And you're an idiot. OMG. Can't you take a joke?!
Organize your dialog more consistantly, though.
