BJ's Peanut Adventure

I was hoping for something new to come along that was good. Unfortunately, really only Scars of Glory has satisfied me. This could have been a decent game, too bad it was murdered. The game was supposedly made in four days (as a textbox tells you when you beat it). Anyway, its about a boy named BJ (of course) who has been trained under the weapons master. Anyway, with a lot of money and his plastic sword, he goes off in search of the Evil Peanut to kill it.

The game's graphics are average, the walkabouts are okay and the maptiles are decent as well. The peanuts look like, well, peanuts, just walking around their desert island. You start at level 50-something, which is a sign that not all is good and that weapons master really trained you hard, heh.

Alright, this game is short and has absolutely no point. You can beat the game in about five minutes, depending on how long you spend fighting peanuts. You'll also need to buy the new weapons and armor from the town shop if you want to stand a chance. The peanuts also heal themselves with suicide attacks, which inflict around 1000 to the user and heal one other peanut by about 70. In other words, the peanuts will kill themselves. The battle graphics aren't very good, they're messy looking and the background is just plain ugly. You can buy different kinds of peanuts from a grey peanut, however, all they do is damage your character for a huge amount. Once you kill the Evil Peanut, that's it. The peanut just sits there on the island you go to. In other words, this game is a waste of time to play unless you happen to like peanuts.

Scores:
Graphics: The graphics are decent. Remember, I can't draw at all (as my upcoming game proves) so I'm more tolerable on this.
6.5/10
Music: It's music from the engine. Only it's not placed well.
2.0/10
Storyline: Plus one point because its about peanuts. This game could have had a decent story...maybe.
2.0/10
Gameplay: Very little. The armor does practically nothing to protect you and the items damage you. The only useful item is the weapon upgrade.
2.0/10
Overall (Not an average score): If you like peanuts this is the game for you. Otherwise, don't waste disk space with this.
1.0/10
