Legend of the Lost Ark

Brave hero Leon has been to many places...he's fought pirates, traveled across blazing deserts, and dined with kings and queens. To bad this awful game starts at the end of all that.

Storyline: Calling this a game is a bit unfair. Its a little less then 5 minutes long, and includes nothing but a small dungeon area, some treasure chests, and a lousy boss fight, when an even lousier friend to help you. The spelling and grammer are bad, and the Leon does things for no reason. There doesn't seem to be any mention of a "lost ark" other then in the title.

Graphics: Hmm...the character art for Leon is good, and Waltz wouldn't look so bad if the author had bothered to give him all his frames. However, the game rips graphics, and does it poorly.

Not a whole lot of anything in the game, and game doesn't break this winning formula here. Lukia Forest is poorly designed, and the town the game ends in doesn't actually have anything working other then the door to it. The boss was well balanced, but the game simply is in a unacceptable state of development for review.

Music: Lets see...a battle song and a winning song, both ripped from popular games, and annoying to listen to for more then a minute. This doesn't even deserve a one.

Scores:
Graphics: Just...ugh. No effort.
2.0/10
Music: Music? Hah!
1.0/10
Storyline: Story? Nah, no story. Just hints of things to come.
1.0/10
Gameplay: Another failing point for this pathetic demo.
1.0/10
Overall (Not an average score): This isn't even a demo, it's a game in the first stages of development. I can't see what Excalibursoft was hoping to get by sending in this demo, other then scorn.
