I definitely enjoyed this game. It's a great start and there are a lot of unique features that keep it original. But in some areas a little work could go a long way.

You start off as Peika, your everyday, headstrong, confident, yet foolhardy, balanced, adventurous teenager. You are then joined by your winged friend Raku (whose personality is nearly identical, it'd be nice if there was some variety here) in a quest to recover the Musorkian Zirconia (or something like that) and give it to Saiyath, the knight. Getting involved with this knight, their hero, leads them into an adventure through the war of mystics vs. humans and to save a mysterious summoner.

Original features: -The world map and cutscenes of areas. -Interaction with the world (you slow down when walking up stairs or slopes). -Character expressions with textboxes. These original ideas certainly add to the game. But the real problems with this game lie in the presentation.

Cons: -Storyline seems unoriginal. -Dialogue is generally unintelligent. -Battles are too easy. -Graphics need work. Overall, this game needs to incorporate the same originality into other aspects of the game. I never enjoy the "Cool! Let's go on an adventure!" mentality.

Scores:
Graphics: In general, the graphics are ok, in fact the cutscenes are quite well done, but the animation needs serious work. Walkabouts don't look realistic and the swords in battle could be much cooler.
6.0/10.0
Music: The music seems original (although I have no way of knowing for sure) but nevertheless, is good to listen to and well placed.
7.5/10.0
Storyline: I would like to see a more unique approach here. It's also underdeveloped, give me an intro or a backstory, and a few more text boxes during important conversations. I don't think Peika could shake off his father's death so easily.
4.0/10.0
Gameplay: Aside from battles, the gameplay is good. Unique features add a lot to the game. But battles are too easy with very few options.
5.0/10.0
Overall (Not an average score): I like this game and I want to see where it goes, but I urge the creators to try and make their storyline more original and developed. The unique gameplay features are a great touch and help keep the game interesting.
