Two years and a day after James finally finishes up the OHR engine, OR if a major company (oh, I dunno, Walmart or Nintendo or something) sues on the basis of saying it's some kind of evil emulator (never mind the fact that it can't even begin to go near the capabilities of a standard NES emulator) and shuts down the whole thing faster than Napster. Sad really. |

Fool! It is not an incorrect spelling! It is an old Greek spelling, and fully correct!

The two main things I do with this computer are OHR and porn. If only I could combine the two somehow, I'd have twice as much free time on my hands, not to mention twice as much... nevermind. _________________ BANDIT REVOLVER, DOWNLOAD IT OR ELSE.

Hey, don't blame me for the spelling correction, Seth was the one that told me... though he did use an oxfard dictionary...
I am not exactly sure how long the OHR will last, depends on how long Jaimes works on it for. If he makes bigger and better updates each time, it might last for years to come, otherwise it will slowly die down into silence... _________________ This is my signature |

As long as ASCII continues making RPG makers like RPG Maker 2000, OHR will stay around for a long, long time. _________________

Remember Hamster Wheel? It's in the FAQ under "Are you dead?" (which I actually believed when it was posted, I was very gullible). There's always that to look forward to after the OHR has run it's course.
Unfortunatly, it's not going to be backwards compatible, which suX0rs. _________________ You got film in my video game!

HamsterWheel's a catchy name. I'm disappointed, however, that Neo isn't going to finish Lucidity. A while ago, Rinku was talking about an "upgrade" to the OHR that was sort of like O2KU (for those who remember that) called Myrpgce, and it was being made by the Heroists. What happened to that? _________________

Well, knowing the Heroists, it was probably eaither scrapped or delayed due to laziness. I would guess the latter, but you never know.
Neo scrapped Lucidity? That is disappointing, but, again, typical of Heroists... |

...this thread has gotten off topic, but I have a few things (sorry if they have already been posted; this thread is long):
1. The ability to return to the game selection menu in Custom.exe, rather then having to quit entirely. Kind of like returning to a main menu of games (like in game.exe).
2. The SetHeroLevel command. I want it bad.
3. The ability to change how much experience it takes to lv up.
4. More customizations. Be able to change the colors in the menus, etc.
5. More then one "death" script. Rathern then having them disintigrate, have them flash white and disapear, etc.
6. Have faces be an option in the text boxes.
7. Be able to go pixel by pixel overlapping
8. Have newly imported plotscripting commands affect old saved games. For example, if you add a load plotscript, you'll have to start a brand new game and save before you can get it. Very irritating.
Is that it? Of course not. But that is all for now. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

0 is such an ugly number. Why can't the levels go from 1 to 100. I agree that you should be able to change the colours of the in-game menus, or at least add a background for the menu. Also, there, like should be hero pictures in the "status" screen, and you should be able to customise the menus, for instance add a texture to make them look really good.
Oh yeah, and i'd like Mr. Paige to fix the quality you get when importing some backgrounds.

All this would be nice...but remember what happened last time James overdid it on the features. BTW, Green Jello, you can set the default starting level to 1. Did you not know that? _________________
