A couple days back I drew this pic. I combined some elements of anime and my own style to create this kind of cartoon. I'm really big on wacked out proportions ('cuz I can't draw people realistically, heh). The scary thing is this is the most realistic pic I've posted relative to all the other pics I've shown. C&C welcome.

Why are her hands so small?

Difficulty, heh. I hate drawing hands 'cuz they are hard for me to draw and it's easier to make them ultra-small. It's even easier to hide them (like one of her hands is hiding behind her hair) and you'll often find that in my pictures unless I put a ton of effort into them.

Looks good. The only problem that I can see is the legs. It looks like she's leaning against something beside standing.

nice picture, i'd say the drawing was rightly proportioned, with the head and feet being the large exaggerated parts and the rest being small meaning that they're irrelevent.
it actually suits the picture to have small hands... just one problem is that it's hiding the hands in the hari, which doesn't fit what she is doing.

Her left arm is remarkably long... Did you lengthen it so it would reach her hair? It looks pretty awkward...

I dunno. My interpretation was that it was the art style that caused the feet and head to be that size.

(((hint: Madhatter! Don't admit that! Just blame it on the style!! Raspberry! )))

Like drawing the boots/shoes eh? Boots can be cool; you just got to beef them up! WOOT! oh, and always add on things, like spikes! Ya! spikes on boots that size would rule!

This may sound stupid, but is she crying?? the sweat comes out of the general area that the eyes are in. Just wondering. Big grin
c ya!

Yeah, I did it so it would reach her hair. Hands are an unbelievable pain for me to draw.

Ohh! Excuse me for useless babble. Setu's right. It was actually the art style, you see. Big grin

Le Roy: Whoo! I luv useless accessories! Raspberry! Yeah she's crying. Eww sweat drops coming out of eyes? Sorry for that gross thought but now I feel sick...

I think I'll be posting another one similar to this soon. Except this person might actually look like they won't get crushed by the weight of their own head Big grin
