I know some of their antics can be a little...upsetting. But you have to understand guitar.com before you can understand what they're talking about. Even if they're not suited for these boards, we can still help them with their game. They ARE trying to make an RPG, regardless of what it's about, so we have common ground.

dont u think its rather pathetic that u call us "newbs", do u not have lives away from your computers, the people on guitar.com just want to make this game for fun, not 100% serious, fun, is that a concept you uys havnt managed to understand?

We do have a concept for fun, but we usually save it for another forum. This one was meant to lean towards serious, 'cuz a lot of people here make games for more than just fun. We do have a life outside of the computer, and if we do so choose to use computers a lot, that is our choice and it is no one's business to tell us otherwise. And the newbie thing isn't meant to be a generalization though it sounded like that.

I'm with madhatter, really, I was probably just harsh with what I said. Anyway, so what of it if I don't ever leave the computer? What if (heh this is going to sound stupid) my body were my computer's "computer"? Then I'd really have a life outside my "computer". Oh, and also, I do make my games for fun, and I'm serious in this community so I can learn about making my games more fun, for myself and for others. Learning is one of the fun parts of it, making it is one of the fun parts of it, playing it is one of the fun parts, and showing others is one of the fun parts. So in essence, I know exactly what fun is, and I'm having it. Anyway, I'll help, just let me know how I can.

Well, I only want to support this community, and post stuff, and see how people respond to the posts I make, and Minnek and I also test eachothers games and music, and check my own spelling and grammar, and say AND a lot. That is all fun. To be a good game designer, you gotta know whats fun, so we might be able to learn something from these guys...

Yes, its Jim Carey aearing a pirate and hat in the mid of hell. Its distorted because I had to shrink it down from 200x200 - these forums have really low avatar resolution.

They only act that way on misc. If any of them (even just a few) were decent enough to behave properly on here, well hey that's more members for Castle Paradox, now isnt it? That means more people making games, more talents, etc. etc. Stop assuming the worst!
